Hi! My name is Amy and I am the author of “Life on E Street”. I would first like to thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet and say Welcome to E Street! No, we don’t live on “E” street, but our last name starts with “E” and my husband is a pastor and we will be moving a lot over the years, so it seemed appropriate.

I started this blog as a writing outlet for me. My husband, family, and friends have encouraged me to write over the years, so I am taking that plunge. I like to call myself a “Jane of all trades” because I am quite the crafty type.  I like to sew, paint, craft, and just create.  I have more power tools than my husband (shhh….don’t tell him). From time to time there may be a craft related post, but most of my posts will typically be written based off of a verse that has touched me during my morning reading, a book I am currently reading, or maybe just something that I felt God lay on my heart that I needed to share. I’m not any holier than anyone else; I’m just trying to encourage and lift others up.

My life story is simple, but complicated.  I grew up in a Christian home with Christian parents and went to a Christian school, a recipe for success….right? Well, somewhere along the way I lost myself and fell into a pit.  It took me a while but I finally found God and allow Him to really work in my life and set me back on solid ground. Now I am happily married to my best friend and love of my life. We have 4 children, 1 he brought into our marriage, 1 I brought in, and 2 that God gave us as a surprise. Together, we are family, we are love, and we are a lot of fun and sarcasm rolled into one.
